This concert, while offering music that is duly recognised as "serious" classical guitar repertoire, reflects the eclecticism of the selected composers over the featured timespan. Influences range from folk music traditions from different parts of the world, non-musical narratives, jazz and even rock and pop music that have become traditions in their own right.
