Dolkar Doma Aur Yeti
Dolkar Doma Aur Yeti is a play about four children and their friendship with two old women. The women have lived almost all their lives just outside their remote Himalayan village, and have seen many things. At the heart of their friendship with the children are the stories the women tell. One such story turns quickly into a quest: to find the elusive and mystical Yeti!
About the Group
Kathakaar is a theatre group based in Mumbai, founded by actor-director Pramod Pathak. As a group, Kathakaar has dedicated itself to originating their own stories and scripts to make plays. Some members of the group have a lot of practice in making plays, while others are just starting out. The group’s first production is called Oka Boka Tiloka. Dolkar Doma Aur Yeti is their second production!

About the Group
Tamaasha Theatre was founded in 2014 by Sunil Shanbag and Sapan Saran, with the intent of creating engaging and stimulating theatre productions. Tamaasha believes in a theatre driven by ideas, and works hard to create the best conditions for its work. The group looks to engage with a wide definition of theatre and the arts, and explore new texts, new ideas and talent. And, to discover a deeper connection with its audiences.

About the Encounter
"Contemporary dance,” says Preethi, “is that which gives you an immediate connection to your everyday life. It is dance which makes you think of the way you stand, sit, walk and talk.” In their Arts Encounter, Preethi and group performed excerpts from three of their performances : Sweet Sorrow, Conditions of Carriage: The Jumping Project, and The Lost Wax Project.
About the Group: Preethi is based in Chennai, but her group is coming from Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur. The artists in the group include : Preethi Athreya, Anoushka Kurien, Madhusree Basu, Jahnvi Sreedhar, and Greeny Francis. Preethi regularly takes her work to many places across India, whenever she gets the opportunity. She has performed in Austria, Singapore, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, South Africa and the UK.
