Don’t watch it, it will end.
The beautiful euphoric journey of nearly two hours takes you on a ride from which you never want to get off. Just like a roller coaster, you would be enthralled, terrified, laughing with
your friends, you would experience every bit of it, every second would be so terribly slow but when you get over with it you would just think how all of it happened so fast.
Apart from the cast you get to meet the directors of all the films, and it is so interesting to get a peek into their minds behind forming this world of Harry Potter.
Each director coming with somewhat of different view and different approach towards their films. You get to know how Chris Columbus filmed the first film of the Harry Potter series and at the same time did babysitting of dozens of children. You see snippets of how the entire world went crazy when they got to know that a Harry Potter film was being made.
The three gems of Gryffindor also sit in the Gryffindor common room and discuss their not so vivid memory. Emma Watson is a delight to watch and talk and you get to know that not only her character was a brilliant, intelligent and bright but she is all that in real life too.
Columbus reiterates several times how Emma was the most brilliant on the set. Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the films is also same as the character. There is this anecdote, that the director of “Harry Potter and the goblet of fire” gave to the three main actors to write up a character sketch of their own character and thinking what the character would write about themselves. Emma Watson gave a 12-page character study to the director, but Rupert didn’t even submit it. When the director asked why he hadn’t written the character sketch. He said that Ron would never do that.
You meet the other cast too, Tom Felton who plays Draco Malfoy also shares his stories about the Harry Potter films, His relationship with Lucius Malfoy, his relationship with Emma and many other beautiful things that every Potterhead should know.
This beautiful ride takes you back to those days when you first watched Harry Potter and fell This beautiful ride takes you back to those days when you first watched Harry Potter and fell in love with the world created by Warner Brothers and of course J.K Rowling. How these mere people that we don’t even know has now become a part of themselves, a part of their childhood. The nearly two-hour journey also talks about how the actors dealt with the upsurge of popularity, how Emma was going to leave the series after third part of Harry Potter? Many things that you didn’t know before you will get to know now.
My favorite part of the reunion will be when they gave an ode to the actors and crew who had passed away. It was heartbreaking to get to know who all had passed away and even though they have left this world, they still reside in our memories, in our hearts and in the world created by J. K Rowling.
You need to watch the reunion as soon as possible and if you haven’t watched Harry Potter, then first go and watch all the eight films and then watch the Reunion.
Tip: Watch it with your dear ones, with the people you love, your family, your friends. You will like it even more, I watched it with my girlfriend.
